I gotta say, it was satisfying to write Gideon poking holes in Gabriel’s little stories.

I'm honestly a bit scared to see what Gabriel's response to Gideon calling him out is gonna be on the next page.
Gideon's definitely gotta stand up for himself, which was satisfying to write. However, it's an unfortunate truth that Gopher Boy definitely wants to spy on him. It'll become clear pretty soon that I have a thing for some of that good old-fashioned dramatic irony and moral ambiguity, lol

Aaah, it's been so nice to catch up on the comic. I know the site is mobile friendly but I still prefer to get to the desktop to see the pages in all their glory. 8)

this entire comic could be summed up as "botched social interactions with strangers"
I know this particular exchange all too well myself, youch. The classic “Trying to rationalise things and have a sense of hope when you have clear problems with perceiving reality” followed by “The other party completely shutting you down and continuing to drill their agenda into your grey matter”…
