Gideon, in bath
Not really thinking of much
Too tall for the tub
You're really not supposed to blow-dry curly hair with the nozzle SO CLOSE to your head without a diffuser, but Gideon doesn't know that. He barely understands how to take care of his own hair and it's likely that he's using the highest setting to get the job done quickly. He could probably have the nicest little ringlets if he knew how to style his mane properly, but he just doesn't. He's not thinking beyond how much he hates going to bed with wet hair. He promises himself that he'll deal with the split ends later when he's not so tired--but he probably won't. He's a hermit in the early 90s with no computer, no internet, no access to r/curlyhair, and no interest in looking for hair care magazines. Which is why his hair is...like that.

I am staring in rapt awe at the way you render the reflections of the body products on the counter!!
Thank you!!! That's one of my favorite parts of this page tbh.
you can call Gideon a number of things, but you can't call him unhygienic.
Lucky. He has a working bathtub. (I have a bathtub the same size and it leaks so bad I can't use it.)
The idea of something being in the bathroom with you late at night is one of my worst fears
I just love every part of this page but particularly liking the body hair on Gideon in panel 2 pose of Gideon as he blow dries his hair
Thank you! The body hair Gideon's blow drying pose was one of my favorite things to draw on this page.
aw yeah, gideon, i feel that lazy mood. i probably don't use the proper methods for my hair either v.v
I’ve never had long hair in my life, but there was a long period of time where I used dollar tree struggle shampoo with no conditioner and fried it with a blow dryer
And I'm that person who wraps their hair in 3 towels because I'm too lazy to blow-dry my hair. :P
ALSO SPOOKY
Reminded me of a really bad spooky time when I would have weird issues about the bathroom mirror, the person in it kept seeming like not me somehow so it was less scary to use the bathroom with the light off than actually look in the mirror. Really bad times, glad they are in the past. Sometimes I still get weird glitches like that but they are momentary and I'm way more conscious about it now.
Thank you!!
There's something so creepy about bathroom mirrors that's worse than other mirrors elsewhere in the house. I used to be freaked out by the idea of pulling back the shower curtain and seeing something in there. I'm glad those times are in the past for you, that sounds scary. :c
