A good soundtrack for this portion of the story is the song Blue Lights at Night by Tor Lundvall.
We've finally made it....to the digital age.
I hope the transition isn't too jarring! The comic will continue to be digitally-colored from here on out.
I'm going to continue relettering the comic. The font I picked didn't work with my art style, so I'm going to be using another one.
LOVE this page. Super atmospheric and Very Well-Drawn Shoes. I love the detail of the red-tinted light coming from the taillights - I wouldn't have remembered to do that.
I didn't notice a different in quality with the digital coloring, it's seamless!!
Thank you!!! ♡ Gideon has some Very Snazzy Shoes. Gotta keep up that illusion of normality somehow, right?
And thanks! Having a screen tablet has been a godsend for art production.
I like your webcomic, it reminds me of Courage the Cowardly Dog and Rocco's Modern Life.
Man this looks freaking legit. Couldn't even tell of this was made digitally or not. Keep it up!
It’s very smooth, no doubt about it! I also like his shoe on the pedal; good strong sense of texture here. Just like the others here, the atmosphere and sense of dread is so tangible.
I love how you choose soundtracks to fit your scenes, I do the same thing so I wonder if we all do at times.
Loving this so far!
It’s super common for people to look for songs that fit the mood of their comics! Most of my webcomic friends have at least one playlist that matches their art. It’s like, you wish that a soundtrack would play over your comic like a movie would, but that’s not possible, so you make a playlist and hope that people will listen to it lol.
And thanks!
