Gideon makes his big entrance. Sparkling conversationalist, isn't he?

Something I'd like to add after the fact, now that I've had a few years to think about it: Dempsey is kind of an unreliable narrator, and he's associating "accent he doesn't recognize" with Dracula, which is not accurate to Gideon's background. Dempsey's version of events is supposed to establish that his social awareness is lousy, and it shouldn't be taken literally.

I normally don't like to elucidate aspects of the narrative that I've left ambiguous on purpose, but I wanted to clear things up because a few people have approached me to ask if Gideon is an actual vampire because of this page. Gideon's history and background will be explored later in the narrative.

Straight up 10/10 pick up game.

Aw, Gideon just wants someone to talk to. He just ain't the greatest at it.

I am loving the coloring and style of this comic! Great way to introduce a character. I can tell Gideon is cinnamon bun even though Dempsey is telling a different story.

Gideon has stolen my heart and scenes like this are why, bless him.
